Team Novavida is made up of Lisa & Tess. 

Great Danes began our friendship many moons

ago and they are a massive part of our lives.

We have been in the breed for 18 years and showing together for the last 8 years, longer if you count previous separate toe dips into the showing world! 

We show our Danes most weekends and really enjoy the social side, the pinnacle of every show year is Crufts, if you are ever there please come and find us!
Our aim is to breed beautiful healthy Great Danes; to breed to breed standard with fabulous temperaments and longevity.

All of our Danes are fully health tested before we consider breeding them.

Health, colour & genetic testing like any part of science moves forward on a daily basis but currently our basic tests are;

• Hip & Elbow scoring

• Eye screening

• Heart checks

• Hereditary Myopathy / Centronuclear Myopathy (HMLR, CNM) 

•  Degenerative Myelopathy / Degenerative Radiculomyelopathy) DM (Exon 2)  

• Leukoencephalomyelopathy ( LEMP )  

• MH (Malignant Hyperthermia)  ​
